The Radical Rescues

Founding farm animal

Rocky

Just like Lulu the pig, Rocky belonged to the previous owners of the property. They told us that he had never known another piece of land, and we all agreed it made sense for him to stay here. We call Rocky "King of the Property" because he loves to roam the entirety of the land, is as tough as they come, and gets along with any person or animal that comes to visit. We pretty much let Rocky do whatever he wants because he can handle himself in any situation, is such a sweet boy, and our favorite thing is when he joins us to walk the trail that goes around the property.

Founding farm animal

Fonzarelli

Fonzarelli is the very first farm animal we rescued after establishing The Radical Ranch in Tennessee.ย  Fonzarelli belonged to a relative of one of our neighbors, andย needed a new home becauseย his owner had unfortunately become too sick to care for him anymore.ย  We immediately fell in love with this little sweetheart and from the very moment Fonzie met "moody" Lulu, they hit it off. Despite her ability to be grumpy towards people, Lulu always gets along with Fonzie.ย They're like an elderly couple that's been married for years!ย

Sam

Sam was immediately the most affectionate of the three goats.ย  He's also the smallest, and the least dominant, so we've always been more protective of him (we also gave him center stage on the mural in the skate barn!).ย  Sam is extremely sweet and will often use his front hoof to gently paw at you to let you know he'd like some scratches, please!

Drake

Drake is the most dominant, stubborn, and vocal of our goats.ย  He will always let you know if he wants something or is unhappy about a situation.ย When we built the fencing for the goat enclosure, Drake immediately took to leaping over it, letting us know that he's also the most acrobatic!ย  Since Drake is the mostย dominant, he's also the leader of theย goats.ย It's so cute to see him call the shots and watch how the other goats totallyย trust their big brother.

Phil

Phil is our only goat with a goatee and he always looks like he's smiling.ย He's the most quiet of our goats and is pretty middle of the road when it comes to being sweet or stubborn.ย He also seems to be the ladies' man of the bunch, becauseย when we rescued our female goat, Dolly, Phil was immediately infatuated with her and still is to this day!ย  Don't expect him to get Dolly pregnant, though, because Phil, Drake, and Sam were all neutered before we rescued them.ย

Wendy

Wendy became a bona-fide celebrity after the video of Steve-O bringing her home from the streets of Peru became the most viewed piece of content he has ever put on the Internet. She spent years as Steve-Oโ€™s service dog, flying with him on airplanes almost everywhere. She didnโ€™t like traveling on a tour bus, though, so when that became the primary mode of travel, she retired to the Radical Ranch, where she is living out her days as a real โ€œcountry girlโ€.

Moonpie

Moonpie was one of the dogs Steve-O took for a โ€œtest driveโ€ on his tour bus during a visit to the Simpson County Animal Shelter in Franklin, Kentucky. It was so successful, he adopted her and brought her with him everywhere he traveled by bus and RV for almost two years. In December of 2025, though, when it was time for the bus to leave the Radical Ranch, she chose to stay with her new boyfriend, Keanu. Now she lives permanently at the ranch, where she loves to play with Keanu every day.ย

New Rescue

Keanuย

Keanu was found in the streets of rural Tennessee with no collar, chip or identification. He was alarmingly skinny, scared, and covered in ticks. After searching for owners, and posting photos of him on local pages, we decided to give him a permanent home at The Radical Ranch. Heโ€™s since been vaccinated, treated for confirmed tick-borne illness, is no longer scared, and has developed a seemingly romantic bond with Moonpie. The way they play together is so wonderful, Steve couldnโ€™t continue to bring Moonpie on tour with himโ€” heโ€™s now traveling with Lela!ย

New Rescue

Lela

We rescued Lela from the Simpson County Animal Shelter in Franklin, Kentucky. She is estimated to be seven years old, and cares deeply about maintaining close proximity to people who make her feel safe, so sheโ€™s officially the most committed snuggler the Radical Ranch has been home to. She is currently on Steve-Oโ€™s "Crash & Burn" Tour, snuggling with Steve on his tour bus all night, every night (and throughout much of every day). She could not be any sweeter!

Winifred Winfrey (aka Winnie)

Winifred was an itsy bitsy kitten when Steve-O found her at the South Los Angeles Animal Shelter in 2016. She was so affectionate, he knew he had to adopt her. Now, almost ten years later, Winnie is primarily an indoor cat, supervising the household at the radical Ranch, and still affectionate as ever! ย

New Rescue

Aspen

Aspen was a feral cat, as indicated by her tipped ear. She bounced around different homes before ultimately being adopted by The Radical Ranch. Aspen likes to keep her distance while she gets to know you. You know you've been accepted by her if she wakes you in the middle of the night with her aggressive face cuddles. Aspen lives a happy life, mostly sticking with her big sister, Winnie, but has recently started venturing outside under the guidance of her brother, Rocky.

In Memory Of

Founding farm animal

Lulu

Lulu was one of our founding farm animals.ย  She was here before we were and was a pet pig of the previous owners of the property.ย  When asked if we wanted to keep her, we didn't have to think about it for even one second!ย  Lulu had a lot of personality and was best described as a diva. ย  She had strong feelings, especially at meal time - she was always ready to eat!ย  Lulu helped our other pig, Fonzarelli, feel so welcomed into his new home at The Radical Ranch, and we are forever grateful for the companionship she provided him.ย  Thank you, Lulu... you will not be forgotten!

Dolly

Dolly was our only girl goat, the only one with horns, and had come a long way from when we first rescued her. All of her original companions had passed and she was quite lonely and stressed without her herd. When we first got her, she was underweight, missing a lot of hair, and was scared of many things. She adjusted quickly, though, integrating with the boys nearly immediately.ย  Her health and physical appearance improved quite fast, and in no time at all you could see how happy and confident she was with her new brothers.ย  She was our first truly heartwarming transformation story and as heartbroken as we are that she passed, we're so happy that she got to live her best life with us.ย  She will be forever missed and we'll be dedicating a specific part of the ranch, called Dollyland, in her memory. ย
