About The Radical Ranch
Founded by Stephen Glover (aka Steve-O) and Lux Wright in 2023, The Radical Ranch is a 501c3 non-profit animal rescue organization, with a mission to adopt and care for animals in need while inspiring compassion for animals, in a fun and radical environment. Woohoo!
100% of all donations go towards running The Radical Ranch. We use all doantions to care for the animals here, build towards future rescues, and to pay our amazing ranch hand, Daniel! Without him, our babies wouldn't have all the love and care they need everyday. Thank you, Daniel!!
Our Mission:
To adopt and care for animals in need while inspiring compassion for animals in a fun and radical environment.
Board of Directors
President / Co-Founder
Stephen Glover
Before becoming a member of the "Jackass" franchise, "Steve-O" graduated from Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Clown College, and worked as a professional circus clown. During his time in the circus, he developed strong feelings about the treatment of the animals, and went on to use his platform to speak out on their behalf. This began what has turned into a decades-long crusade in advocacy for animal rights. Over the years, it's become important to Steve-O to use positive reinforcement, rather than shaming people, as his approach to helping animals. This is the philosophy which inspired him as a founder of the Radical Ranch: instead of using upsetting images and rhetoric to persuade people to be more compassionate, he wanted to create an environment which cultivates compassion through positive interactions and storytelling. Rescuing and caring for animals is only the beginning, it's facilitating an environment where people can see into the eyes of those animals which makes the Radical Ranch so important, and sacred, to Stephen "Steve-O" Glover.
Vice President / Co-Founder
Lux Wright
Lux Wright is the Co-Founder and President of the Board of Directors at The Radical Ranch. She grew up in Southern California and currently works out of Los Angeles as a Production Designer and Wardrobe Stylist. A lifelong animal lover, Lux has always rescued and adopted her pets, nurturing her dream of one day retiring on a farm where animals of all species could roam freely. The Radical Ranch brought that dream to life much sooner than expected, allowing her to rescue even more animals and provide them with a safe, loving home. With a background in the fast-paced, detail-oriented world of production, Lux has honed her skills in managing the sanctuary’s operations and approaching the logistics of running a non-profit with creativity and efficiency. Her mission for the sanctuary is to ensure all the animals experience an enjoyable environment to live out the rest of their days in happiness, being completely cared for, and fully loved.

The Radical Ranch Staff
Ranch Hand
Daniel Amaya
Daniel is, so far, the only employee of the Radical Ranch. He feeds and cares for the animals with such genuine love, it’s heartwarming to witness. He also plays a key role in video production at the ranch. He was 12 years old when he began recording funny videos with friends on his first camcorder. Now, his undying motivation to create and explore has led him to the Radical Ranch—where his love for animals, friendship, filming, and laughter have all come together in a truly magical way.
